Swedish BankID experienced a denial of service (DoS) attack on the evening of 23 April, between 20:49 and 23:45 CEST, which resulted in widespread service disruptions.
Although the service resumed later that night, recovery efforts continued the following morning. Full access across all data centers was re-established by 08:30 on 24 April, following the unblocking of traffic and cleanup of the incident’s aftermath.
